Terms & Conditions
1. Swansons Nanny Agency does not charge any fee whatsoever to prospective employees.
2. The prospective employee must notify Swansons Nanny Agency immediately she/he is offered a position together with the starting date of employment.
3. Swansons Nanny Agency are not employers and carry on business as agents only for the purpose of effecting introductions between persons desiring to enter into contracts for services.
4. Swansons Nanny Agency’s lists are confidential, for use of the registered person only and must not be passed on to any other person.
5. Swansons Nanny Agency endeavours to find suitable placements for their applicants but cannot be held responsible for any problems that might arise resulting there from.
6. Swansons Nanny Agency cannot be held responsible for accidents, injury or loss incurred during employment or otherwise.
7. In the case of an employee who is initially engaged by an employer on a temporary basis and that employment subsequently becomes permanent either by agreement between them or after the expiration of 6 weeks from the commencement of such employment, when it shall be deemed to have become permanent, Swansons Nanny Agency must be informed.
8. The applicant must supply Swansons Nanny Agency two genuine references from former employers or the names and addresses of two such employers provided that if the applicant has not been previously employed as a Nanny and/ or Mothers help, the applicant will be required to supply names and addresses of two responsible persons willing to give character references and to confirm the suitability of the applicant for such employment.
9. Swansons Nanny Agency and their servants and agents do not accept responsibility and are not liable for any information or representation concerning their clients or persons to whom their clients may be introduced, neither do they give or accept responsibility for any warranty concerning the history, character, age, capabilities or suitability of their clients or of such persons.
10. Swansons Nanny Agency give no representation or warranty that any situation remains or will remain available or that any client is or will be available to fill any situation.
11. Swansons Nanny Agency are not liable for any loss or expense howsoever the same may be caused by their clients or any such persons in effecting or attempting to effect a meeting following any introduction by them.
